This Privacy Policy explains how navanmai ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our service at app.navanmai.com.

1. What we collect

When you use navanmai, we collect:

• Email address — provided by Cloudflare Access when you sign in. Used to identify your account.
• Audio recordings — captured in your browser and uploaded to our server for processing. Stored on our server until you delete them.
• Transcripts — the text produced from your recordings by the speech-to-text engine.
• Analysis results — extracted audio metrics (speaking rate, pitch, energy, filler word counts, pause timing) and AI-generated coaching feedback.
• Scripts — any scripts you write or save in the app.
• Challenge attempts — your delivery challenge attempts, scores, and streak history.

We do not collect payment information, location data, or any information beyond what is listed above.

2. How we store your data

All data is stored on a secured VPS (virtual private server) hosted on DigitalOcean. Audio files are stored on the server filesystem. All other data (transcripts, analysis results, account information) is stored in a SQLite database on the same server.

Data is transmitted over HTTPS — all traffic is encrypted in transit via Cloudflare's TLS termination. The server is protected by a firewall that blocks all non-web traffic.

3. Third-party services

navanmai uses the following third-party services, each of which may process some of your data:

• Cloudflare — provides DNS, CDN, and Access (authentication). Your IP address and email are processed by Cloudflare as part of the login flow. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic Claude API — transcript text and extracted audio metrics are sent to the Claude API to generate coaching feedback. Raw audio is never sent to Anthropic. Anthropic Privacy Policy.
• OpenAI Whisper — speech-to-text transcription runs locally on our server. Your audio is never sent to OpenAI.

4. Data retention

Your recordings, transcripts, and analysis results are retained until you delete them from within the app. If you wish to have your entire account and all associated data deleted, contact us at info@navanmai.com.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data at any time
• Export your data on request

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
